How should I go about the new Quant course?

That is a great question. This course is built around xPERT architecture which allows you to diagnose your weaknesses, personalize the course based on your needs, and then track your improvement.

Here’s how you should go about it:

  1. Take the diagnostic quiz at the beginning of each module
  2. Based on your scores, you will be recommended a learning path
  3. Follow that learning path
  4. Take the GMAT Skills Practice Quiz to track your improvement

Repeat this process with all the modules. Once you complete the modules, you would be ready to move to Stage 2 of your preparation – Cementing your learning for which you would move to Scholaranium.

What is the difficulty level of questions in practice quizzes?

GMAT Skills Practice Quizzes are mixed difficulty quizzes starting from 600 level questions and going to 700+ level. The progression of the modules is such that as you reach GMAT Skills Practice Quiz, you should know the concepts, the process required to solve such questions, and finally some hands-on experience of tackling GMAT-like questions.

When can I take a break?

We recommend completing 1 module in 1 sitting i.e. not taking a break before completing your assigned learning path for any module.

Should you need a break within a module, we recommend completing the set of activities till the next GMAT Skills quiz. For example, if you are studying LCM & GCD module and your learning path recommends going through all the files in this module, then your break points could be as shown in the image below.

Let us take another example. If you are studying Divisibility and Remainders module and your learning path recommends going through the entire module, then your break points could be as shown.

How should I practice on Scholaranium?

Once you complete the learning activities with 80% + scores in all the GMAT Skills Practice Quizzes of all the modules you can be certain of a 50percentile to 70 percentile Ability in these modules individually. To go from here to the 90th percentile is where you need Scholaranium.

Scholarnium allows you to Cement your learning. It also allows you to create mixed quizzes from different topics and difficulty levels. Once you take these quizzes, the analytics provided helps you further refine your preparation to hit the 90+ percentile Ability in that specific sub-section.

If you have completed the learning path of all the modules in the course, watch the Stage 2 and Stage 3 videos from here.
