Eligibility criteria for IIMB EPGP admission
Before you decide to apply for admission into IIM Bangalore’s EPGP class of 2023, you must make sure that you fulfil the following eligibility criteria:
- You must be a graduate with at least 50% CGPA. (For SC, ST and PwD category applicants, the minimum CGPA requirement is 45%)
- You must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience as on March 31, 2023. (only the work experience after graduation is considered)
- You must have a valid GMAT or GRE score.
Besides providing the documents to prove the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you will also be required to provide the following:
- A Statement of Purpose (SOP) that explains your reason for pursuing the program, along with your future goals.
- Two letters of recommendation. (On-line) (From an individual who is in position to evaluate your past performances, for example, your employer)
IIMB EPGP Cost of attendance
The total cost of attendance for IIM B’s EPGP has three significant components: tuition fee, international immersion fee and the accommodation charges. The tuition fee covers all the significant expenses such as the cost of education, books and course materials, internet, library, career counselling, etc.
The tuition fee and international immersion program cost remain the same for all the students. The cost of accommodation varies, depending upon the type of accommodation the student chooses.

IIMB EPGP 2023 admission process
The admission process for the EPGP at IIM Bangalore consists of three steps:
- Submission of online application: In the first step, you will need to send the completed online application through the application portal. Your application will be evaluated to check if it meets all the eligibility criteria. Once it is done, it is forwarded to the admission committee for further evaluation.
- Application and SOP evaluation: In the next step, the admission committee evaluates your application along with your statement of purpose (SOP). If they deem your application qualified, you will be shortlisted for the final round, which is a personal interview.
- Personal interview: The interview panel comprises of three interviewers: two IIM B faculties and an IIM B alumnus. The personal interview will be focused on evaluating you on the quality of your past performances, leadership skills, etc. The details about the interview dates and centres for round 1 and round 2 applicants are shown in the table below:

- Your academic track records
- Your quality of work experience (a minimum of 5 years work experience is mandatory to apply for EPGP program)

- Your performance in the interview
- And, your performance in the writing ability test
