What’s New in the Quant Course?

A 2 min read

QUANT Online Course Launched (Quant Online 2.0)

The Quant online course was launched last week with huge success. The new course comes with multiple improvements over the Quant Online 1.0 course (By Quant Online 1.0, we mean the QLP course bought by you sans the Live Sessions). The good news is that all the exciting new additions are accessible to you for free!

What’s New?

1. Intelligent Course Structure: The course has been divided into 5 individual courses and 44 subtopics. Each subtopic follows a methodical step by step process ensuring maximum and effective learning:

  1. Evaluate current ability with a Diagnostic Test
  2. Learn the concept through an audio-visual concept file
  3. Learn to apply the conceptual understanding to solve GMAT style original questions
  4. Practice further with OG questions

2. Richer Content

  1. Concept Files: 20% more concept files added to ensure that we cover every concept GMAT has ever tested. The new concept files belong to the Algebra and Geometry courses
  2. Additional Tests:  Each of the five courses now has two new types of tests (Rapid Fire Quiz and Practice Test).  This means richer practice and better self-assessment!
  3. Diagnostic Test: Quant Online 2.0 has a Diagnostic Test for every subtopic instead of a single diagnostic quiz for a course. This ensures that the student can check his/her current ability at a sub topic level. If a student scores less than 70% in a diagnostic test, then the user must go through the corresponding concept file.

3. Cosmetic Changes: These are the changes that are stylistic in nature, more than anything else:

  1. Number properties-1 and Number Properties-2 have been combined into a unified course – Number Properties.
  2. The Post Session Quizzes in Quant Online 1.0 have been rechristened as Advanced Tests (all the questions remain the same)

When & how should you use the revised course?

The QLP course (Quant Online 1.0 + Live Sessions) is in itself a complete course to equip you with necessary skills to ace the GMAT. However, you can use the revised Quant Online (2.0) to further strengthen your preparation.

  • Need more practice: If you have completed all the sections of Quant Online 1.0 and you are still looking for practicing more questions, Quant Online 2.0 contains 129 new questions. Please find the details of new questions added to Quant Online 2.0 here.
