GRE Home Edition Test Dates 2025

The GRE Home Edition is accessible 24/7, with test appointments available as soon as 24 hours after registration. However, to take the test from home, candidates must satisfy the specific Equipment and Environment Requirements detailed on the official ETS GRE website.

Home Edition Requirements include:

• Hardware: A desktop or laptop (tablets and mobile devices are not permitted) running an approved operating system (Windows 10 or higher, or macOS 10.13 or later), equipped with a functional webcam, microphone (not part of a headset), and speakers.
• Internet: A reliable high-speed internet connection that meets ETS’s minimum bandwidth specifications.
• Environment: A quiet, private room free from distractions, with a clear view of your testing area, including your desk. All personal items must be removed from the vicinity to ensure test security.
• Software: Installation of the ETS Secure Browser, which is required for the exam.

GRE Subject Test Dates 2025

This section covers the schedule for the GRE Subject Tests in 2025. Currently, the GRE Subject Test is available in three disciplines: Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology. These tests are offered three times a year – typically in September, October, and April – giving candidates multiple chances to secure a testing slot.

For the 2025 cycle, the GRE Subject Tests will be conducted worldwide on following dates::

How to Cancel or Reschedule Your GRE Exam Dates

If you need to change your GRE appointment, follow these steps:

1. Log In: Sign in to your ETS account on the official GRE website.
2. Access Appointment Details: Go to the “Cancel/Reschedule” section to view your test appointment.
3. Cancel or Reschedule:
   • Cancel: If you wish to cancel, ensure it’s done within the allowed window (usually at least four days before your test) for a potential partial refund.
   • Reschedule: Choose a new date from available slots (remember, you can reschedule once every 21 days and up to five times in 12 months).
4. Review Fees and Terms: GRE Reschedule fee for Indian Test Takers is INR 5,000.
