Excellence in responding to SME doubts has long been a cornerstone of e-GMAT’s offerings. Every month, we respond to 1500 unique doubts from our students; each doubt is carefully evaluated and then responded to by one of our trained experts. This amounts to about 20,000 responses per year – more expert responses than what you would see on any public GMAT forum.
Over the past year, we’ve been continuously enhancing your learning experience through our forums. Even though our SLA is 12 hours, we’re proud that our expert team now responds to ~70% of student queries within just 2 hours, providing detailed, comprehensive explanations that truly clarify concepts. This is despite the fact, that our responses are now more detailed.

Making Forums More Personalized
Your feedback matters! Many of you who post your doubts on the forum have expressed an interest in keeping your doubts pristine. Here is an example:
- Student 1 posts a doubt
- Expert responds to Student 1’s doubt within 90 minutes
- Student 2 posts another semi-related doubt in the same thread within 2 days
- Expert responds to Student 2’s doubt within 60 minutes.
- Student 1 comes back and reviews his doubt, only to find that his thread has been semi-hijacked.
The above seems to post a challenge to Student 1’s learning flow. Based on the feedback from Students such as Student 1, we have we’re excited to introduce our latest forum enhancement that addresses this directly.
What’s New
We’ve enhanced our forum structure to create dedicated discussion spaces for each student query. Now, when you start a discussion thread, you’ll have a focused conversation directly with our experts, ensuring your doubts are addressed thoroughly and personally. Your thread remains exclusively yours, with other users unable to post questions in it, preventing any confusion in the conversation flow.
Don’t worry – you can still engage with other students’ discussions by upvoting or downvoting expert replies, helping highlight the most helpful responses for the community!

Starting a New Discussion
If you come across an interesting discussion that triggers a question in your mind, simply:
- Create a new thread using the “Ask an Expert” button
