At e-GMAT, each and every expert is dedicated to student’s success. Therefore, we lay a great deal of emphasis on providing the best quality support to the students.
To help the experts resolve your doubts at the earliest, please ensure that you follow the best practices, as outlined below, for posting doubts related to official questions. A post not complying with the outlined best practices may not receive a response.
Give your best shot
- Try it out yourself first
Before posting a doubt on an official question, first try to solve it yourself. Solving a doubt yourself not only adds greatly to your learning but also boosts your morale. You gain confidence in yourself that you can solve difficult questions on your own.
We suggest that you post your doubt after you have given it your best shot.
Search before you post
- Utilize the search feature
Utilize the search feature in the question/comment section in your e-GMAT dashboard and in GMAT Club. Our experts have answered more than 4,500 questions on internal forums and made more than 100 posts on GMAT Club. These queries include several commonly discussed official questions. Searching for already addressed doubts is certainly the fastest way to get your doubt resolved.
Get the Logistics right
1. Post the doubt on GMAT Club & notify us on forum
We respond to doubts related to official questions. However, the process for posting such doubts is different from the one used for posting e-gmat content related doubts. Please following the process below.
- Post your official question related doubt on GMAT Club
- Post the link to the thread on GMAT Club in the pertinent question/comment section of our internal forum.
i. For example: if a query pertains to a strengthen question, then the link needs to be pasted on the dedicated internal forum for Strengthen Application file
- Once the doubt is replied to on GMAT Club, you will be informed through the internal forum itself.
Please note that failure to follow the process outlined above may result in longer response time.
Express the doubt appropriately
1. Share your analysis
When you post your doubt, do present your analysis of the question. This is important because your analysis gives the expert an insight to your approach to such questions. Your analysis enables the expert to understand the gap in your understanding. This knowledge enables the expert to address the doubt more effectively and precisely.
2. Be Specific
The more specific and detailed you are about your doubt, the more effective expert’s response will be.
- Do not post doubts on multiple OG questions in a single post
Asking multiple unrelated doubts on various official questions in a single post not only makes it difficult for other students/community members to gain from such posts but also makes it very cumbersome for the expert to respond to such posts.
2. Do not send your posts through e-mails to experts
Internal forums are meant to be used for resolving your doubts. While sending emails directly to the experts, chances are high that your e-mail may go unnoticed in the flurry of emails the experts receive every day.
