Launch PresentationWithin a few weeks of preparation, my accuracy improved from 50% to 85+%. This course removed much of guesswork that I used earlier. Prior to using e-GMAT, I used Manhattan and Kaplan materials for verbal preparation but these materials did not help in improving my score beyond 36. I found the e-GMAT’s audio-visual method along with pre and post-tests after each concept are much more helpful than just reading books. This course helped me in pushing my verbal score from 35 (mock) to 41 in the GMAT. I targeted for 100% accuracy in SC to achieve higher score in this section, and e-GMAT was helpful in pushing towards my goal.

e-GMAT course makes the verbal section much more logical and understandable.

Launch PresentationIn my second attempt, I did nothing but e-GMAT course along with OG and OG Verbal Review. Sentence Correction was the biggest problem area for me; although I had completed MGMAT Sentence Correction guide numerous times, I could not score above V28 in my first attempt. I then joined the e-GMAT SC and was amazed to see my verbal score improve from V28 to V40 in less than 30 days. This course was the key for my 740 score.

e-GMAT SC is clearly a gold-mine for GMAT Sentence Correction.

Launch PresentationI am sure you can easily have an 8+ point (out of 60) improvement in verbal using e-GMAT course. I’m an entrepreneur based out of India and I am applying to the Top 5 US programs. My aim was to get a 700+ score. I scored a 730 (Q50, V39) on the GMAT recently (Oct 09 2013) and I can’t thank the e-GMAT course enough.

After finishing just 2 levels of the Sentence Correction, my Verbal scores jumped by around 5 points and the number of SC mistakes per mock test dropped from 8 per test to less than 4 per test.
The CR course really helped get my thought process right and fixed my CR basics problem. I had fortunately analyzed that I made 70% of my mistakes in the Weaken and Inference CR questions and I dedicated my CR preparation to these particular modules. The Integrated Reasoning section of e-GMAT is extremely detailed and covers a large number of problems of varied types. Overall, I would highly recommend the e-GMAT course to EVERY non-native. It’s a great investment for a high Verbal score.

In less than 4 days , I noticed a difference in my accuracy while attempting the OG ’13 questions.

I thought that I knew all there was to know in SC, but after doing a few concepts, I realized that I was mistaken

I could not improve my Verbal Score beyond 32 using MGMAT and Powerscore. It was clear to me in October that I needed a change. I had thought that I knew all there was to know in SC, but after doing a few concepts, I realized that I was mistaken. I knew the concepts all right but I still had not learned how to apply them. For example, I had not realized the ways in which Verb-ing modifiers could be used till I went through the concept in the course. I then looked into MGMAT and I could find that the same thing was covered in MGMAT as well but somehow I did not understand it the same way. I felt the same as I went through Verb tenses and parallel structures etc. I felt that the eGMAT course was a lot easier to comprehend than MGMAT SC.The Prethinking approach is just awesome – makes CR questions very enjoyable. Their coverage on evaluate (I did get a few questions) is probably the most comprehensive that I have found in any book.

I could see the improvement after the first week itself. RC passage was no longer scary to me and my accuracy started to improve. By the time of reaching last week before my actual test, I was confidently scoring 70-80% in RC

My consistency in SC section improved drastically, and more importantly I became much more confident with this section.

I had only 1 month left for the actual GMAT and my verbal was stuck at 32-33 even after months of studying. I had completed MGMAT SC and improved my accuracy to 75% in SC but that was not sufficient. I realized that most of the times the main killer of my verbal score was RC. Sometimes I scored as pathetic as 25%. That’s when I started the e-GMAT RC course. I could see the improvement after the first week itself. RC passage was no longer scary to me and my accuracy started to improve. By the time of reaching last week before my actual test, I was confidently scoring 70-80% in RC and my verbal score in mock CATs ranged from 35-41. On the actual test I managed to score 38 in verbal and was really comfortable even in answering the last RC passage (by the time you reach there you are almost dry of energy and the anxiety to view the score dominates the senses).

My consistency in SC section improved drastically, and more importantly I became much more confident with this section.

I used the e-GMAT course and was able to score 750 (Q51, V39) after scoring 640 in the first mock test. The e-GMAT Verbal Online course, especially the SC section was extremely helpful to move my score a notch higher. I found their SC content to be very specific, precise and applicable. It provides a clear set of tools and strategy to attack an SC problem of any level. For example, I learnt that before one starts to look at the answer choices in an SC problem, it is very important to understand the intended meaning of the sentence because a particular sentence might have more than one grammatically correct version, but often, the answer is the one that fulfills the intended meaning. That really was the dealmaker in my case.
