Dennis scored a V39 on GMAT with a week's study

Dennis Obigwe

Hi Dennis. Can you tell us how long you prepared for the GMAT?
I had registered for the course a few months ago but had little time to study due to work constraints. I finally found two weeks of freedom to concentrate and prepare properly for the GMAT.
Amazing that you were able to achieve a V39 within 2 weeks. Can you tell us a bit more about your preparation?
I always struggled around the V33 area. So, I did an intense study prep by first watching the SC free webinar which was very useful for me in approaching each SC question. The three step approach was critical in edging me towards the 90%+ accuracy.
How did you come across e-GMAT?
As i researched for programs, I noticed that e-GMAT had a lot of good reviews from many GMAT Club users and it costs about 199 dollars for the English package. It is definitely worth it. If you want to get a feel before purchasing, please subscribe to the free webinar for SC, RC and CR to see for yourself. I am sure you would tread the same path :-).
What are your thoughts on the Verbal Online course?
The video format of the course is very effective, highly interactive and provides in depth knowledge of all the things you need to master SC. The course is organized and has a nice flow which helps you get the maximum learning out of it. I would strongly recommend this to anyone.
Glad to hear that the course helped you, Dennis. How were the free webinars?
The live sessions – especially on SC and CR – were absolutely fantastic. They helped me more than all the 100+ page guides I had read much earlier before getting bogged down and taking a break.
How was the support provided by the team?
The support team was awesome. Although I purchased the course much before, I didn’t use it at all as I took a break from preparation. However, the team gladly extended my course till my GMAT date upon my request. e-GMAT team rocks!
Thanks Dennis. Would you like to add anything else?
I would like to wish all the fellow e-GMATers the best.

Within a week of study using Verbal Online, I was able to obtain a V39. If I decide to retake for a higher score, I would opt for e-GMAT again and spend a bit more time on preparation this time.

Arun scored a 710 on the GMAT

Arun Taneja

Hi Arun. How does it feel to achieve your target score of 710?
Thank you so much. I could achieve my target score today and I must say that the major contribution has been from your Verbal Online course. Your course is way way better than anything else in the market. You should start giving score increase guarantee even on your virtual course. It is so good.
Can you tell us what happened in the first attempt?
I had given GMAT a few months back. I took help from another test prep firm. However, there was no coherent structure to the preparation and so, I could score only a 640.
How did Verbal Online help you during your second attempt?
The program really explains the concepts thoroughly and in a concise manner. After going through a concept file, you really come out with the feeling of ‘ wow’. The Application Files continue that wow feeling by showing you how to apply the concepts you just learnt on GMAT-like questions.
How did Scholaranium help you in your preparation?
The explanation to each and every question is A-class. Just to give you a bit of insight: I gave a gmat prep just after completing concept section – i scored a 640. Then I took a month or two to complete scholaranium and my score straight away jumped away to 680/690. Scholaranium provides excellent insights into your strengths and weaknesses that you need to focus on for effective preparation.
Thanks Arun. Would you like to add anything else?
Thank you so much and keep doing the good work guys!
Nipun scores GMAT 710!

Nipun Ladha

Hi Nipun. Heartiest congratulations on scoring 710. How does it feel to reach your target score within a month?
It feels really great actually. I really needed something to help me on the Verbal front, and, I found your course at the right time, I must say.
How was your preparation before e-GMAT?
I gave a couple of mocks when I began my preparation. I realized that Quant is not a problem area for me and that I needed help on the Verbal side of things. I started looking up various online sources, most of the classroom courses were weekend courses. However, I wanted to make the most of the time available at my hand rather than wait till the weekend every week for my preparation.
How did you come across e-GMAT?
I came across e-GMAT on GMAT Club. I took the free trial offered by e-GMAT. I got hooked to the course within 24 hours and I purchased the course.
How did you utilize the course?
When I purchased the course, I received a sheet that details out the course structure and the time recommended to complete each component of the course. I followed it to the dot and made sure to apply the processes taught in the course. Once I gained some confidence after my preparation, I gave some mocks to test my preparation.
How were your scores in the mocks?
Before starting my preparation my mock score was around a 580. However, after completing the course, my mock score rose to a 680. This gave me the confidence that with a little bit more of effort, I can break the 700 barrier.
How was your experience of using the courses?
I liked the way the processes have been inculcated and demonstrated throughout the course. I personally became quite good with RC after going through the course. SC and CR were also quite good, however, I benefitted the maximum from the RC section. Thank you team for the wonderful courses.
Thank you for your words, Nipun. Wish you all the best for your future endeavours.
Thank you team e-GMAT.
Pulkit scores a 700 on the GMAT

Pulkit Yadav

Hi Pulkit. Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how you started your preparation?
I am from an engineering background. Being an engineer, I never faced an issue with Quant. So, for my GMAT, I knew that I had to solely concentrate on Verbal. I started researching on best material available online.
How did you come across e-GMAT?
I came across e-GMAT on GMAT Club. After attending a few demo workshops by e-gmat. I realized e-gmat is the best option available for me. After purchasing the course, I diligently followed the material. This is how I was able to score a 700 in 2 weeks.
What aspects did you like in e-GMAT courses?
I loved the courses – especially the SC course. I can guarantee that no one else can make SC simpler than e-gmat. The audio visual files followed by Short Quizzes for assessing the weaknesses and conceptual gaps was one key aspect that helped me throughout my preparation. The difficulty level of the questions was also fair not too high not too low.
Was Scholaranium helpful to you?
The best part of the course is Scholaranium, which has gold quality questions. One CANNOT go wrong in actual GMAT if he/she has properly utilized Scholaranium.
Would you like to give any advice to your fellow test takers?
I’ll recommend everyone who wants to ace GMAT verbal to go for e-gmat without any hesitation.
Thank you for your kind words, Pulkit. Wish you all the best for your future endeavours.
Thanks to all e-GMAT instructors (Rajat, Payal, Krishna & Shraddha) for their constant support and feedback throughout my preparation.
Nishant scores a 690 on the GMAT

Nishant Sahni

Hi Nishant. When did you start using the SC course?
I studied SC course just 10 days before my exam. Just this preparation helped me improve from a V28 in my previous attempt to a V34 in this attempt – 6 Verbal points in just 10 days!
That’s amazing! What aspects of the course did you like?
The SC course is amazing! The concepts were explained methodically and from the basics. This helped the concepts get hard coded in memory. e-GMAT approach to tackle the questions is awesome, and with practice speed increases too once you get used to the approach.
Did you try any other e-GMAT courses?
Unfortunately no. Although I had access to the CR course as well, I was so happy with my improvements in SC (thanks to e-GMAT SC course) that I didn’t focus on any other sections. However, in hind sight, I believe if I had worked on CR study material too, I would have scored much more in the Verbal section.
Thank you for your time, Nishant. Good luck with your future endeavors.
Thank you e-GMAT.
