What does the sentence mean?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This sentence states that Japan\u2019s climatic conditions have produced a lush vegetation cover.  Also, despite the fact that Japan as such has mountainous terrain and poor soils, the climactic conditions have made it possible to grow a variety of crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
