With a curriculum that focuses on strategic analytics and leadership development, the Tepper MBA program has now earned a STEM \u2013 designation. The Tepper School of Business is the second U.S. business school after the University of Rochester to gain STEM designation status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Therefore, a STEM-designated program provides up to 36 months of temporary employment in the U.S.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Sevin Yeltekni, Senior Associate Dean of education, states that  \u201cA STEM designation is a signal that the blend of analytical, technological and business skills are in demand and that these skills are important for the U.S. economy. That\u2019s why the STEM designation is important. In short, Tepper\u2019s MBA program gives you the skills and tools that are very much in demand and is important for any student no matter where they are from and what they intend to do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Sevin Yeltekni, also points out that \u201c the STEM designation captures the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of the Tepper MBA program that blends foundational business disciplines in innovative ways. The MBA program at Tepper brings in expertise in science, technology, and engineering from the rest of the Carnegie Mellon campus into the classroom.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
