Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability.\u00a0 So, it is very much possible for a student to have a higher ability in one section vs. the other section.\u00a0 Furthermore, each of the sectional abilities is furthermore classified into sub-sectional abilities.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A student\u2019s quantitative ability is composed of\n<ul>\n<li>Arithmetic ability<\/li>\n<li>Algebra\/Geometry ability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>A student\u2019s verbal ability is composed of\n<ul>\n<li>Sentence Correction ability<\/li>\n<li>Critical Reasoning ability<\/li>\n<li>Reading Comprehension ability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Ability Related Insights from SIGma-X Mocks<\/h3>\n<p>Now that you know what the various kinds of abilities are, we will explain to you what you will learn from SIGma-X mocks about your abilities.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-21543 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Sigma-X-mocks-ability-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"387\" height=\"239\" srcset=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Sigma-X-mocks-ability-2.png 408w, https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/Sigma-X-mocks-ability-2-300x185.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 387px) 100vw, 387px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>SIGma-X mocks provide you your sectional abilities \u2013 As you can see, GMAT score of 680 is composed of two sectional abilities \u2013 Quantitative score of Q49, which corresponds to 74%ile and Verbal score of V34, which corresponds to 71%ile.<\/p>\n<p>Next, SIGma-X mocks give you information about your sub-sectional abilities in the quantitative section &#8211; This student did well in the first block and thus the test decided to increase the difficulty level of questions in the next block.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Block 2<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 The test served questions of medium-hard difficulty level in this block. The student performed well yet again.\u00a0 The test decided to increase the difficulty level of questions.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Block 3<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 The test served questions of hard difficulty level in this block. The student could not do well here indicating that this student does not have the ability to solve hard questions in SC.<\/li>\n<li><strong><u>Block 4<\/u><\/strong> \u2013 The test now served lower difficulty level questions \u2013 back to Medium-Hard.
