While Reliance soon became one of the largest businesses in India, Reliance Industries recently instituted the Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship to support the education of 3 Indians, at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"what-is\">What is&nbsp;Stanford Reliance Dhirubhai Fellowship?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"379\" height=\"249\" src=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Stanford-Reliance-Dhirubhai-fellowship-award.png\" alt=\"stanford reliance dhirubhai fellowship for Indian MBA applicants\" class=\"wp-image-20431\" srcset=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Stanford-Reliance-Dhirubhai-fellowship-award.png 379w, https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/Stanford-Reliance-Dhirubhai-fellowship-award-300x197.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 379px) 100vw, 379px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Reliance Fellowship requires one to apply through the defined application process and thereafter, 50 applicants are selected as finalists, who qualify for the scholarship based on their admit decision from Stanford at a later stage. Therefore, writing a strong essay in 250 words is the biggest challenge to getting this fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>How to write a strong essay in 250 words?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Stanford Reliance Fellowship application is very different from a typical MBA Application in that it requires you to establish your commitment to contributing to the country, which, for obvious reasons, should be well-aligned with your career plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You cannot be applying with random promises of contributing to the country, on your Fellowship Application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your story, therefore, must draw the right balance between your long-term plans of contributing to the country and your short-term plans of building your own career. A limit of 250 words further makes it essential to know exactly what you want to communicate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here is a sample Reliance Fellowship essay demonstrating how to pack a punch in just 250 words:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u201cThe experience of working with one of the world\u2019s leading pharmaceutical management consulting firm for the past 3.5 years has helped me gain valuable expertise in the payer-provider-insurer system.
