The visa allows them to complete their course and grants them an additional 18 months to find employment and work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>EU Blue card<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you start working in Germany, you can apply for the EU Blue Card provided you have a minimum gross salary of EUR 56,800 and in case you belong to the &#8216;professions in shortage&#8217; category (mathematics, IT, natural sciences, engineering, and human medicine) your minimum annual gross salary must be EUR 44,304.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can get a Permanent Residency (PR) in Germany after<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>33 months of being an EU Blue Cardholder<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>OR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>21 months, if you have B1 level proficiency in German<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, knowledge of German is essential to successfully finding a job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"working-after-MBA-in-netherlands\">Working after MBA in the Netherlands<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"544\" height=\"361\" src=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Netherlands.jpg\" alt=\"working after MBA in the Netherlands\" class=\"wp-image-17600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Netherlands.jpg 544w, https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Netherlands-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3>Student visa for the Netherlands<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To study in the Netherlands, you\u2019ll have to apply for the \u2018Provisional Residence Permit\u2019 or the \u2018MVV\u2019. Once you reach the Netherlands, you\u2019ll receive a \u2018Residence Permit\u2019 which will allow you&nbsp;to stay for as long as the duration of your program plus 3 months for the university\u2019s administrative processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Post-MBA work visa for the Netherlands<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5>Zoekjaar (Orientation year visa)<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan to stay and work in the Netherlands after your graduation, you\u2019ll have to apply for \u2018Zoekjaar\u2019 or the \u2018Orientation year visa.\u2019 It allows international students to look for jobs after the expiry of their student visa for 12 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember this is a non-renewable visa, so make sure you land a job within these 12 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other visas that will help you to stay back and work in the Netherlands are \u2018highly skilled migrant visa\u2019 and \u2018work permit.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Highly skilled migrant visa<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for the highly skilled migrant visa:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>You must have a job in the Netherlands<\/li><li>It pays EUR 3,229 gross per month if you are younger than 20 years<\/li><li>It pays EUR 4,404 gross per month if you are 30 years or older<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The duration of this visa is for as long as you are employed in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Work Permit<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>To be eligible for the \u2018work permit\u2019 you\u2019ll only have to find a job with a Dutch company that is registered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/ind.nl\/en\/work\/working_in_the_Netherlands\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5>Permanent Residency in the Netherlands<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to apply for the Dutch Permanent Residency then you must have spent a minimum of 5 continuous years in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"working-after-MBA-in-switzerland\">Working after MBA in Switzerland<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Switzerland.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17603\" width=\"371\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Switzerland.jpg 429w, https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Switzerland-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Switzerland-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 371px) 100vw, 371px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3>Student visa for Switzerland<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For an MBA you would require the \u2018D visa.\u2019 It is for courses that last longer than three months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you apply for a type D visa and plan to stay in Switzerland longer than three months, you will have to arrange to get your residence permit from the cantonal migration offices within 14 days after your arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Post-MBA work visa for Switzerland<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A non-EU student can apply for a residency extension after completion of the MBA program. This is a non-renewable permit and the duration is 6 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you find a Swiss employer, he\/ she will apply for a \u2018work permit\u2019 on your behalf. The work permit is valid for as long as you are employed in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you plan to apply for a permanent residency, you\u2019ll have to spend a minimum of 10 years in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"working-after-MBA-in-spain\">Working after MBA in Spain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3>Student visa for Spain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re a non-EU student then you\u2019ll need to get a student visa (type D) and a student\u2019s residence permit\/card or Foreigner Identity Card (TIE) within 30 days of your arrival in Spain from the local Foreigner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"523\" height=\"317\" src=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Spain.jpg\" alt=\"working after MBA in Spain\" class=\"wp-image-17602\" srcset=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Spain.jpg 523w, https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Spain-300x182.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 523px) 100vw, 523px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week during classes, as long as it doesn\u2019t interfere with your studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company that employs you will need to get a work permit for you from the Foreigner\u2019s Office. Your employment contract cannot exceed the duration of the study visa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Post-MBA work visa for Spain<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there is no method to automatically grant a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.schengenvisainfo.com\/spain\/visa\/#:~:text=Spain%20Study%20Visa%20Requirements\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\"> work permit to non-EU students<\/a> once they have completed their MBA. Before getting a work permit, you need to get a job first. Your employer then has to prove that the job has been advertised but there were no suitable candidates from Spain or the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After you obtain the work and residence permit with the help of your employer, you then can apply for a work visa<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"working-after-MBA-in-canada\">Working after MBA in Canada<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Canada has a liberal policy when it comes to studying and working, if you wish to study in Canada, you will need to obtain a Canadian study permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"549\" height=\"363\" src=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Canada.jpg\" alt=\"working after MBA in Canada\" class=\"wp-image-17597\" srcset=\"https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Canada.jpg 549w, https:\/\/e-gmat.com\/blogs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/post-MBA-Work-visa-for-Canada-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 549px) 100vw, 549px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3>Student visa for Canada<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply for a study permit you can apply either <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cic.gc.ca\/english\/information\/applications\/student.asp\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener noreferrer\">online<\/a> or on paper. It is always better to apply online as the process takes lesser time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Post-MBA work visa for Canada<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>MBA graduates can receive a<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>3-year post-graduation work permit (PGWP) provided they have completed a 2-year full-time MBA program.<\/li><li>If your program was between 8 months and 2 years, then you receive PGWP for as long as your course duration.
