Typically, the short text comes with a question that asks you which of the five answer options strengthens or weakens an argument, tells why the argument is flawed, or strongly supports or damages the argument.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>GMAT Critical Reasoning measures your ability to make arguments, evaluate arguments, and formulate or evaluate a plan of action.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\">\r\n<blockquote><strong><em>The skills pertaining to reasoning that are tested by the GMAT are divided into four categories \u2013 Analysis, Construction, Critique and Plan<\/em><\/strong><\/blockquote>\r\n<h2><span style=\"color: #1a1a1a;font-size: 16px\">GMAT CR Question Types:<\/span><\/h2>\r\n<\/figure>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>Boldface<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Inference<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Evaluate<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Assumption<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Strengthen<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Plan \u2013 Critique Type<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Logically completes<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Inference<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Weaken<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Paradox<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Flaw<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Strengthen<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<strong>CR accounts for one-third of your verbal score.<\/strong>\u00a0What this means is that if you have a lofty target GMAT score (700 or higher), you cannot take it lightly.\r\n\r\n<strong>But what exactly is Critical Reasoning?<\/strong>\r\n\r\nWell, GMAT CR is a test of our reasoning skills. As per the GMAT Official Guide, the GMAT tests our reasoning skills in three ways:\r\n<ol type=\"1\">\r\n \t<li>Our understanding of how an argument is constructed<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Our skill in
