Payal is the chief curriculum developer at e-GMAT and is responsible for translating the subject matter into e-learning content. A graduate of BITS, Pilani, one of the premier institutes in India, she has excelled in various competitive exams including GMAT and GRE. She holds the belief that excellence can be achieved by combining a methodical process with targeted preparation. She is the brainchild behind the e-GMAT process for Sentence Correction.
Payal is an avid believer in e-learning and is a key contributor on leading e-learning forums such as those on "Articulate". She constantly explores new rapid e-learning tools that can deliver richer e-learning experience to our users. In her spare time, she picks up a Dan Brown novel and reads it from cover to cover in a few hours.
Rajat oversees marketing and strategy functions at e-GMAT. His vision is to make effective and affordable learning content available to the masses. He also sets direction for the forthcoming sections to be launched at e-GMAT.
An alumni of IIT-Delhi and Babson College, Rajat has excelled in standardized tests throughout his career. He was one of the country's toppers in GATE, India's equivalent of GRE; he also excelled in the GMAT.
In his free time, Rajat explores disruptive technologies and innovative business models.
A.P. is the brainchild behind e-GMAT platform. He manages the technology platform and work processes. He also oversees development and enhancements of the website. One of his breakthrough inventions is the concept map platform, which allows the users to constantly track their weaknesses and strengths at the concept level. He constantly looks for means to provide more targeted learning and practice to our users.
Truly speaking, he is a serial inventor. He blends his inventions in our everyday lives to improve the ways we do things. His latest invention is an automated curtain control system for 20-feet tall curtains that he built using parts from a toy car. Truly, he is a perfectionist in his field, and it will not be an overstatement to call him an avid Steve Jobs follower.
With a Ph.D in English literature and thirty years of teaching experience with a diverse population of students in India and US alike, Poonam brings a wealth of experience to the e-GMAT team. She is extremely technical in the use of English language, yet she can express those technicalities in a manner simple enough for a layman to understand and follow. She is an expert in teaching English grammar, literature, and composition courses to native speakers and non-native speakers alike. She is a great influence on the course structure of each concept file itself. In her spare time, Poonam loves to play with her granddaughter and writes short stories. She is also an avid traveler and has traveled all over the world making friends with people of different cultures.
